In Targu Mures and the whole country we are facing a profound craftsman crisis.
The auto service overalls are no longer a reason for pride, but we forget that work is priceless, and as the wise King Solomon once said, “If you see a skillful man doing his trade, he may stand alongside kings.”
The two days spent at the Arts and Crafts Fair brought us closer to those who represent the future of Romania.
“In order to keep our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren here, we need three important partners: Family, School and the Business Environment”, said in her opening speech, Mrs. Rodica Baciu, Deputy General Manager and founding member of Materom.
Filled with enthusiasm, the teenagers who came to the fair witnessed live tin ware demonstrations, engine repairs, a technical quiz, and entertainment activities. The young ones also joined, and showed us that you can achieve anything with will and perseverance, such as changing an oil filter at just 2 years old. 🙂
The future lays in the power of example. What is the legacy you leave behind
